Every time a customer at Green Electricals chooses an LED luminaire over a conventional fitting, or replaces an old motor with an IE3 energy-efficient alternative, they are saving energy — and we have been part of that decision.

A significant and growing share of our 25,000+ product portfolio is dedicated to energy-efficient solutions. These include LED lighting systems that consume up to 80% less energy than conventional alternatives, high-efficiency electric motors, smart switchgear, and solar-compatible electrical components.

We do not just stock these products — we actively guide our customers towards them. Our sales and technical team are trained to understand customer applications and recommend solutions that reduce long-term energy costs while meeting performance needs.

Our cable trays and heavy electrical items are secured to ensure zero damage in transit, which means zero returns, zero re-dispatches, and zero unnecessary carbon miles.

Every order that arrives intact at a customer's site is not just good service — it is also good sustainability practice.

We are continually reviewing our logistics processes to reduce our carbon footprint — from route optimisation to packaging material choices — and will share updates on this journey as we formalise our operational sustainability targets.

When Green Electricals decided to enter manufacturing, we made a simultaneous decision: we would do it responsibly.

Manufacturing carries an environmental footprint that distribution does not — energy consumption, raw material sourcing, process waste, and facility management all come into play. We are approaching each of these with deliberate care.

• Energy-Efficient Production Our manufacturing operations are being designed to minimise energy consumption — incorporating efficient machinery, smart energy monitoring, and a target to increasingly use renewable energy in our production processes.
• Waste Minimisation We are building production workflows that optimise raw material usage, reduce process waste, and establish clear protocols for responsible disposal or recycling of manufacturing by-products.
• Responsible Raw Material Sourcing We will prioritise suppliers who meet quality and environmental standards — ensuring that the sustainability of our products begins at the very first step of the supply chain.
• People-Safe Workplaces Our manufacturing facility will meet and exceed all statutory safety standards — because the safety, health, and dignity of every person who works for Green Electricals is non-negotiable.
